As a Housekeeper You will perform a variety of housekeeping duties to ensure the residents reside in clean, safe and sanitary environment. As an employee of Chartwell you can enjoy growing your career and be a part of a dedicated team that positively impacts the lives of the residents.

**What You Will Do**:

- Disinfect all equipment, clean and dust furniture and common areas including dining room, bathrooms, lounges, activity areas, offices, hallways, stairways and other areas as assigned.
- Sweep, scrub, wax and polish floors using brooms, mops and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines and clean/shampoo carpeted areas.
- Perform laundry duties, make beds and change linen.
- Straighten and rearrange furnishings and report any damaged or unusable furniture and fixtures.
- Attend in-service education sessions, staff meetings and workshops.
- Perform other related duties as required.

**What You Will Need**:

- Secondary school education or equivalent.
- Previous Housekeeping experience
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.
