**Position Overview**
We are seeking a motivated **Technical Field & Assembly Technician** to join our team on a **full-time, 6-month contract**, with the opportunity for extension based on performance and project needs. This hands-on role combines electronics assembly, system troubleshooting, and field work to support the installation and maintenance of our monitoring systems. You’ll work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure our equipment meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assemble, test, and calibrate custom electronic monitoring equipment.
- Assist with equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in the field.
- Perform wiring, sensor integration, and data system verification.
- Support documentation and quality control during manufacturing and service processes.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure successful project execution.

**Qualifications**
- Technical diploma or practical experience in **electronics, instrumentation, or mechatronics** is an asset.
- Basic understanding of sensors, wiring, or control systems preferred.
- Comfortable using tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Must be **willing to travel to field sites** (primarily in Western Canada).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
