Field Aviation Calgary is currently hiring an experienced **Junior Manufacturing Technician **to join our growing team. If you're dedicated and ambitious, Field Aviation is an excellent place to build your career. This position is an integral member of the Manufacturing team, and is responsible for performing assigned tasks safely and efficiently. Work requires practical skills, experience and knowledge. To qualify, you must be a resident of, or willing to relocate to the Calgary, AB area.

**Please note this is a full-time union position; salary and benefits will be based on the current Collective Agreement.**

- You have a rudimentary understanding of manufacturing procedures; experience in the aircraft manufacturing sector is considered an asset;
- You can translate the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for part verification with supervision;
- You are interested in the planning and implementation of manufacturing processes, operation of manufacturing equipment and tooling, and the use and maintenance of company documentation systems;
- You are interested in hands-on work, and learning new skills and processes as they relate to manufacturing;
- Previous experience with deburring, simple forming, and simple assembly would be considered an asset;
- You can perform tasks assigned to you by your Lead Hand and/or Supervisor.
