GIA is a plant-focused Italian restaurant located in the west-end of Toronto, and we are on the grow. We are looking to expand our kitchen team at various levels of experience. GIA is a small team, focused on positive learning experiences, team work and creating a workspace that is inclusive, safe and respectful. We work with local suppliers and are constantly trying to improve our understanding of food systems and what the season offers us.

You should be able to learn relatively quickly and be fluid in the kitchen. Being organized, willing to learn and take instruction helps for sure. We are looking for someone who can see when a team member needs assistance and offer it, as well as understand the pacing of dinner service. We work together as a team to ensure the success of service.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
open availability
2-3 years minimum cooking experience within a professional kitchen
your own knife/knives
proper kitchen-safe shoes

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
