Fleming College, Toronto Programs is a public college-private partnership between Fleming College Canada (FC) and (Trebas), with academic delivery and student support services managed by Trebas.
**Position Overview**:
The Content & Video Production Assistant is responsible for providing support to the production team by performing a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This role requires a combination of organizational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to take on a range of tasks.
**Some of the key responsibilities are**:
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of production logistics.
- Provide administrative support to the production team, including data entry, filing, and general organization.
- Maintain a clean and organized production workspace.
- Assist in the video editing process, including cutting footage, creating sequences, and incorporating graphic elements.
- Import and organize footage, music, graphics, and other elements into the video editing software.
- Follow best practices in video editing, including file management and backup procedures.
- Ensure that all video content is properly formatted.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ proven experience in project management with a focus on photography and video production
- Strong knowledge of post-production stages, video and audio editorial processes and story telling
- Excel as a project coordinator
- Knowledge of multi-camera switchers (TriCaster an asset), current editing hardware and software, including non-Linear Editing systems and Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to perform multiple tasks, schedule priorities, and meet deadlines
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Highly detail-orientated with organizational and time management skills
- Calm under pressure and solutions-focused
- Excellent team player - willing to roll up your sleeves on and take on anything even if it doesn’t fit neatly in your job description
- Strong computer skills, in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Self-motivated and willing to learn
