Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other construction professionals to ensure plumbing systems are installed correctly
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, bend, and thread pipes
- Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters
- Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure they meet building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians to integrate plumbing systems with heating and cooling systems
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues
- Maintain accurate records of work performed

**Skills**:

- Strong ability to assemble, install, and repair plumbing systems
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in plumbing work
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and their integration with plumbing systems
- Basic understanding of carpentry principles for installation purposes
- Ability to read and understand building codes and regulations related to plumbing
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

**Salary**: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
