**About the role**

The technology team is looking for a passionate person with a business-savvy mindset to help us turn our data into actionable insights. This role is part of the team responsible for driving the strategic vision and execution of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Data Visualizations. You will own and be responsible for building a portfolio of enterprise-wide dashboards and the data architecture needed to achieve them.

**What you can expect to do**:
**Data Visualizations**:

- Design, develop, and implement advanced visualizations and executive-level interactive dashboards to turn company data into actionable insights.
- Engage with stakeholders and analytical business partners to understand KPIs, determine methods to calculate them and incorporate them into dashboards.
- Create day to day reporting with a variety of tools to assist in monitoring business performance and identifying exceptions.
- Running ad-hoc queries for internal stakeholders as needed

**Data Warehouse**:

- Design, develop and modify relational and multidimensional database structures, relationships, data flows and data interfaces within the data warehouse.
- Build data models and data marts to support business data analysis needs.
- In collaboration with DevOps Engineer, design, test and maintain ETL processes to load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
- Create and maintain complex SQL views.

**Projects & Other Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data analysis requirements and data sources
- Manage data warehouse & visualisation projects from inception to completion.
- Create documentation for and deliver training to business users on the use of company’s data analysis tools.
- Maintain security roles and access rights according to company’s best practices.
- Own budget responsibility for data warehouse reporting and visualization. Monitoring and controlling licencing costs, usage costs and costs of external resources.

**What we are looking for**
- Must have 3 years experience using Microsoft SQL Server and crafting advanced SQL queries
- Must have 3 years experience using Power BI and DAX
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in analyzing, designing, testing, and deploying Business Intelligence and Data Analytics reporting tools and content.
- Experience with ERP processes (Purchasing, Manufacturing, Sales, Inventory) and related data structures.
- Experience with financial reporting (Income Statements, Balance Sheets) and related financial posting data.
- Solid practical understanding of relational data modelling and data integration between disparate databases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to lead working sessions with business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills to ensure proper follow up and adherence to project timelines.
- Ability to lead reporting projects and functional cross-department teams.
- Enjoys creating new ways of working at scale, without being overly process-heavy
- Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with a diverse group of teammates
