Contemporary Computers is a boutique managed IT services company that thrives on solving complex technical challenges for over 100 businesses across the Greater Toronto Area. Our clients range from industrial and manufacturing companies to law firms, healthcare providers, and design firms.

**We perform the following tasks for our clients**:

- IT Managed Services
- IT Auditing and IT Security Auditing
- Networking: IP services, VoIP, design, device configuration and deployment; physical network deploy and management including ethernet, wireless and fiber optic
- Web Services and Application Programming
- Server deployment and management
- Local, managed and Cloud Server Hosting
- Management of virtualized infrastructure technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V
- Data Recovery services, basic electronic and firmware repair up to clean room-based hardware replacement

**Your duties would include the following**:

- Provide **onsite IT support** for client assessments, deployments, and troubleshooting
- Take ownership in the client experience—track, follow up, and resolve issues efficiently
- Configure and deploy IT hardware and software
- Monitor and respond to system alerts via management portals
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems and continuously improve processes

**Technical Requirements**:

- **L1 level onsite experience or greater**:

- Strong troubleshooting skills with **Windows environments**:

- Ability to manage tickets, follow documentation, and track client issues
- Understanding of **networking fundamentals** (IPv4, VLANs, subnetting)
- Experience with **remote management tools, Microsoft 365, Intune** (preferred)
- Bonus: Knowledge of **MacOS, virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware), backup technologies (Veeam), SonicWALL, Cisco Meraki, Unifi**:

- Bilingual (English/French) is a plus
- Must pass a background check due to our client verticals
