**The role of the Pre and Post care Supervisor is to provide quality care in a safe environment for children 0 - 12 years of age and to ensure full customer service is given to our customers here at Westside. Job responsibilities will include some administrative duties, and to supervise the before and after day camp care of children 4- 12 years of age.**

**Pre & Postcare Supervisor Responsibilities**:

- To supervise and implement the pre/postcare program for daycamps (4-12 yrs)
- To plan and implement age appropriate activities each day
- Actively and enthusiastically participate with the children in the childcare setting (0-12 yrs) as well as in Pre/Post Care
- Set-up, take down, cleaning and general maintenance of the equipment and facility area
- Ensure safety of children and staff while in the facility

**Administrative**:

- Attend any staff meetings/additional trainings
- Meeting parents/providing important information about their child
- Responsible for all sign-in/out of children during pre/postcare
- Conduct sign-in and sign-out procedures at the greeting desk for the childminding bookings
- Making sure parents have completed medication forms, waiver forms, and authorization form
- Keeping track of receipts for childminding payments
- Registering children for Pre & Postcare
- Assist parents with late fee charges for Pre & Postcare

**Risk Management**:

- Perform First Aid as required
- Complete Incident Report Forms as required
- Maintain activity areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Ensure the safety of participants and program area

**Skills Required**:

- Ability to work in a large team environment and independently
- Ability to work within a multi age group setting
- Good customer service skills
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Good organizational skills
- Experience with infants, toddlers and/or children

**Physical/Psychological Demands**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- Ability to lift 20-25 lbs and work in a daily routine of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling

**Qualifications**:

- Level 1-Early Childhood Educator Certificate or Equivalent required
- Must have current Alberta Approved First Aid training agency - CSA Standard Z1210-17 Intermediate First Aid
- Successful applicant must have a clear Vulnerable Sector Search at their own cost
- Must be a 18 years or older

**Work Term**:
Summer 2025: June-August

Mon-Friday approx 7:00am-11:45am & 3:00pm-5:45pm (Split Shift, 37.5 hrs/week)

**Closing Date: April 4/2025**

**Licenses & Certifications**: Required
