Position Title: Events & Village Experience Supervisor (Full-time position)

Reports To: Director, Marketing & Events

Department: Marketing & Events

Are you a dynamic and creative event professional with a passion for arts, culture, and sporting

events? Join our team as Events & Experience Supervisor and take charge of planning and

executing unforgettable experiences

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, program, and lead the Association’s year-round festivals, events, and Village

experiences plan.
- Recruit, lead, train, and motivate the Village events team in line with strategic priorities

and customer service standards.
- Work with entertainers, third-party partners, and suppliers to ensure Village policies are

met (entertainment contracts, insurance requirements, risk management, health, and

safety regulations, fire code specifications)
- Manage and foster relationships with performers, Village stakeholders, commercial

members, resort event and marketing teams, tourism partners, and other BMVA

members to ensure alignment and engagement in annual events and Village experience

programming.
- Continually seek new interactive programming ideas and entertainment opportunities.
- Partner with BMVA’s facilities and marketing teams to ensure events and experiences

are effectively executed, marketed, and measured.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
- Steward the Blue Mountain Village Brand.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree or diploma in Events, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event planning and execution.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Expertise with various technology platforms, social media, digital, websites and Apps an

asset. Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, etc.
- Proven customer service excellence.
- A passion for creating unforgettable experiences and engaging audiences.

LOCATION

Our office is located in the heart of The Blue Mountains, Ontario minutes to mountain

adventure, Georgian Bay and the vibrant communities of South Georgian Bay. This position is

primarily on-site/in-office and requires local residency.
