**Purpose of Job**:

- As a Training & Development Coordinator, you’ll create and implement a multi-year shop floor training plan that supports organizational priorities. Conduct needs assessments and identify skill gaps then develop and execute training, evaluate outcomes, and staff performance, and support organizational performance improvement.

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Implement an Operator training program with competencies from entry to advanced level.
- Train inhouse trainers to assist with overseeing new operators.
- Consult with Managers and Supervisors to assess training needs and improvements.
- Facilitate training courses for new and existing staff, according to business needs and with the highest quality.
- Coordinate training with external vendors as well as developing and delivering in-house H&S training, inclusive of training materials (presentations, worksheets, work instructions, e-books, etc.).
- Assist with orientation process and conduct formal H&S orientations.
- Maintain and update Training Matrices and training records.
- Evaluate various methods and techniques for measuring learning success and impact on future performance.
- Other duties as required.

**Health and Safety Responsibilities**:

- All required PPE while in plant.
- Work safe & ergonomically by following H&S policies.
- Enforce and promote workplace safety.
- Report any unsafe acts, conditions or accidents across the plant.
- Identifies personal safety compliance or non-compliance by observing employees' use of protective equipment.

**Knowledge, Skills and Education**:

- Minimum 5 years’ related experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Ability to confidently conduct employee training.
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Responsible, conscientious, and detailed work ethic required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Seeks out and applies best practices as solutions to correct deficiencies**Salary**: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
