The Vibrant Vine Winery is a creative and fast-growing winery located on the South East Kelowna Bench, in the Okanagan Valley. We strive to consistently produce award winning wines that provide our valued customers with a fun and delicious experience.

As the Assistant Events Manager, you will be part of a dynamic management team that continually looks for ways to improve our business model. You demonstrate leadership, professionalism and teamwork in all aspects of your job.

Reporting to the Events Manager you would be responsible and provide assistance with the following:

- Help with planning, organizing and executing public and private events (ranging from concerts to weddings).
- Marketing and social media.
- Supervising team and musicians/instructors, dealing with customer concerns, and leading by example.
- Opening, End of Day, and closing winery.
- Mentoring and training of other staff.
- Lead tours and tastings for private events in the absence of event manager.
- Take payments for private events in the absence of event manager.
- Booking live music shows.
- Refunding customers if needed, taking ticket payments over the phone.
- Logging tickets.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year experience working events or as a tasting room associate.
- Marketing and social media experience.
- Extremely organized with the ability to multitask despite interruptions and a self-starter when it comes to prioritizing workload.
- Computer savvy a must.
- Requires strong skills in Excel, Word and G Suite.
- MailChimp experience preferred.
- Experience with Meta Business Suite, Canva and Word Press.
- Well written, well spoken with huge attention to detail.
- Genuine passion for wine is ideal.
- Must be able to lift a case of wine (40 lbs).
