**THE OPPORTUNITY**
- Set-up equipment, verifying programs and settings, retrieve and load production materials into the machine.
- Tie product to secure beginning and end of the run and hang product onto racks following the proper pattern.
- Visually inspect product quality and remove any defects.
- Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments to settings and machine parts as required.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues including adjusting settings, clearing jams, and testing casings.
- Enter downtime information into machine computer system.
- Move finished racks and empty buggies to appropriate locations.
- Complete housekeeping of work area.
- Conduct machine changeovers and equipment washdown.
- Responsible for maintaining food safety standards in work responsibilities and report food safety issues to QA immediately.
- Work in a safe manner in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act by reporting all hazards, accidents, incidents or near misses to the Supervisor.
- Follow all prescribed SOPs, rotation schedules, HACCP and GMP procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

**THE REQUIREMENTS**
- 1 year experience operating production machines
- Read, write, and communicate (English)
- Basic mathematical skills required
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Must be mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both as an individual and a team member
- Ability to work in a cold environment
- Ability to lift up to 27kg
- Previous work experience in manufacturing is preferred but is not required, if you’re eager to learn, we would love for you to apply.
