**About Locality Brewing**:
We are in the heart of the Township of Langley’s Farmland, surrounded by gorgeous rolling fields, delicious berry farms, fruit wine, ciders, and distilleries. Our brewery is a place for our guests to connect to the farm ingredients that are used in the beer, take in the peaceful sound of the birds, mingle with friends, family and make new friends and participate in the “F I E L D to G L A SS” experience.

Locality Brewing is located on 96 beautiful acres, where we grow barley, hops, hazelnuts, cider apples, we have chickens and keep honeybees. We have a ½ tonne malthouse and 10 Hex brewing system, a tap and tasting room and beer picnic garden surrounded by the hops and a gorgeous little pond, we call the Lagoon.

**The Roles**:
We are hiring fulltime and Part-time summer staff. Reporting to the Taproom Manager, the primary role of the Front of House Staff is to deliver an exceptional experience to all brewery guests with authentic and enthusiastic hospitality. The front of house staff will be the first point of contact with guests and have the opportunity to create an amazing guest experience by sharing the farm story and acquainting them with Beer Picnic Garden.

**We Grow, We Malt, and We Brew, a True “Field to Glass” experience.**

Responsibilities for Busser
- Clear tables of dishware and napkins after meals, and return them to the tap house
- Load and unload glass sanitizer returning clean glasses to holding place
- Keep floors and chairs and tables clean in picnic area
- Rotate garbage and recycling
- Maintain appropriate stock levels
- Clean, sanitize, and reset tables after guests
- Assist in beer delivery when needed
- Keep designated service stations clean and well stocked
- Prep some food items for service
- Set up chairs and tables in picnic area

Responsibilities of Point of Sale and Tap Server
- Provide high quality service to customers
- Adhere to all local and national liquor laws (serving it right)
- Pour and serve beers in a timely manner
- Greet guests in a timely manner and take orders
- Process cash and credit card transactions following appropriate procedures
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team
- Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety
- Assist with inventory and inventory control
- Carry and change kegs
- Knowledge of beers on tap
- Open and close Tap house following appropriate procedures
- Prep some food items for service

**Responsibilities of Farmers Market Ambassador-**

**This position will be in conjunction to one of the Front of House positions**:

- Represent Locality Brewing at pre-scheduled events, mostly Farmer Markets, possibly Liquor Store Tastings and sometime festivals.
- Set up tent, table, and product displays.
- Tell the “Field to Glass” story about Locality Brewing Products
- Follow and maintain merchandising guidelines to ensure that brand displays are correct.
- Manage stock to ensure that products are always available.
- Report any out-of-stock SKUs to Sales Manager.
- Completing feedback reports.
- Using Square.
- Serving samples
- Ability to work independently

**FMA Qualifications**
- Strong experience in retail sales.
- Liquor sales experience and knowledge is an asset.
- Must have “Serve it Right” Certification.
- Must be passionate for outstanding and memorable customer experience.
- Must have valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- Must be able to lift to Flats of beer and carry canopy tent.
- Dedicated team player.
- Professional and an effective communicator.
