**Location**: Alpine Ski Club, Blue Mountains, Ontario

As a **Lift Operator,** you will assist and provide instruction to passengers on the safe loading and unloading of the ski lift, maintain a safe work area and complete daily set up/tear down of lift area. Lift operators are our greatest front-line asset as you have the most member and guest interactions at the club. You can help be the difference between a good experience and an exceptional one for our members and guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily pre-operation inspections and post-operation shut down procedures
- Complete daily lift logs and documentation
- Maintain loading and unloading ramps, mazes and areas around the lift station
- Assist passengers in the safe loading and unloading of the ski lift in a safe, efficient and friendly manner
- Remain alert and attentive to lift passenger needs
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions (outdoor uniform provided)

**What You Bring**:

- Ability to lift, push, pull and move equipment in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds
- Able to effectively communicate in English both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to deal with people tactfully and professionally at all times
- Calm under pressure and patient

**Work Conditions**
- May be required to work in environments requiring personal protective equipment
- May be exposed to dust, chemicals and high levels of noise
- Must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions
