**The Role**

We are seeking an experienced **Printing Machine Operator** with strong leadership capabilities to oversee our wide-format dye sublimation production. You will be responsible for operating high-volume printers and rotary heat presses, managing inventory, and ensuring our workflow runs efficiently.

This role requires more than just pushing buttons; we need a technically minded individual with excellent communication skills who can organize production schedules and lead by example.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Print Operation**: Operate and maintain wide-format dye sublimation printers (e.g., Mimaki, Epson) and the Monti Antonio rotary heat press to produce high-quality fabric graphics.
- **Color Management**: Utilize expert knowledge of color theory to manage Ergosoft RIP software, ensuring all output meets G7 Master Printer standards. Perform color profiling and spot color matching.
- **Production Leadership**: Organize daily workflow to meet tight deadlines for large-volume production runs. Coordinate with the finishing team to ensure seamless hand-offs.
- **Display Assembly**: Assist in the production and pre-assembly of trade show displays, tension fabric structures, and backwalls to ensure fit and finish.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor and manage inventory levels for paper, ink, fabrics, and spare parts. Place requisition requests before stock runs low.
- **Maintenance**: Perform routine daily and weekly maintenance on printers and heat presses to minimize downtime.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating wide-format dye sublimation printers and rotary heat presses.
- **Technical Skills**: Deep understanding of RIP software, color profiles, and sublimation transfer processes.
- **Leadership**: Proven ability to manage time, organize production queues, and communicate effectively with management and staff.
- **Physical**: Ability to lift heavy rolls of media (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- **Attention to Detail**: A critical eye for quality control—you catch banding, color shifts, or ghosting before the product leaves the floor.
