**Overview**
The instructor of the Digital ESL for Seniors Program will teach practical English lessons along with basic computer & internet skills. The course will focus on improving speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, helping participants enhance their basic English language proficiency and digital literacy (such as account creation and password management, as well as English terminology for different digital actions).

The instructor should be familiar with working with adults 55+ who may need additional patience or support as they learn these new skills.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop curriculum, ensuring the lesson plans are engaging and are relevant for the students life experiences and personal goals
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their language skills.
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
- Maintain records of attendance, assessment and complete reports for funders

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in ESL Education
- Previous experience teaching or tutoring seniors with ESL
- Strong computer skills, preference will be given to those with expereince teaching computer skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability in teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $36.54 per hour

Expected hours: 13 per week
