**Job Overview**
The ESL Program Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Program Director, instructors and students.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create, revise, process, distribute and manage documents accurately and efficiently (e.g. attendance records, class lists, exit forms)
- Create students’ profiles and key into the database as required.
- Coordinate with internal CFN departments as needed for the program activities, such as IT, finance, administration, marketing and communication, etc.
- Respond to program inquiries and support the requests from instructors and students.
- Monitor students’ attendance, replenish seats and conduct placement tests (coordinate with teachers if needed)
- Conduct the program survey and generate the program reports.
- Make sure materials, resources, and facilities are available and used effectively.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and update stakeholders on the program's progress
- Coordinate events (e.g. new student orientations, Field trips, program promotions, booking rooms/passes)
- Train as a CHAD user to review/input attendance records and enroll new students accurately

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree preferably in Education, Linguistics or Language arts
- TESL/CELTA/ACE TESOL Diploma
- Significant knowledge and experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC)
- At least two years or more of experience in program coordination or management.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and data entry.
- Culturally competent and familiar with serving newcomers and refugees.
- Able to be flexible and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26.50 per week
