**Development Coordinator** - Markham, Ontario
**What you will do**:
- Prepare, request and track Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) from a broad range of multi-disciplinary consultant teams and provide a comparative analysis of the proposals to assist with consultant selection
- Collaborate with the project team, municipalities and other authorities having jurisdiction during the various phases of a development and construction to ensure approval of development entitlements and permits.
- Assist the project team in, but not limited to, the following: project feasibility studies, market insight information, entitlement risk assessments, due diligence on new acquisitions/projects, preparation of approval briefs, and review of development agreements.
- Assist the project team in coordinating meetings including logistics and document preparation.
- Contribute to the review of design and construction drawings, reports, and specifications
- Assist with tracking of budgets and monthly monitoring and tracking of consultant invoices
- Manage digital project files, including organizing, updating and maintaining accurate records such as permits, drawings, contracts and reports according to established filing system
**Who we’re looking for**:
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Urban Planning, or a related field. Two years’ experience within the real estate development industry
- Familiarity with financial modelling and inclusionary zoning is an asset.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail. Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborative, solutions oriented and self-motivated.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Periodic travel to construction sites as required. Must hold a valid Class G driver’s license with no restrictions.
- High degree of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
