**About the Role**

Speedway Trailers is a trusted cargo and utility trailer dealership offering both sales and full-service repair. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused **Service Advisor** to oversee daily operations in our service department. This role is ideal for someone with automotive service experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values teamwork, safety, and exceptional customer care.

This is an **on-site position** only; remote work is not available.

**Compensation & Schedule**
- **Salary**: $19/hour to $22/hour (based on experience)
- **Hours**: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage daily service shop operations, including staff supervision and shop safety across three service bays.
- Provide excellent customer service by preparing estimates, discussing repair options, and communicating updates on progress and cost.
- Schedule service staff and ensure smooth workflow to maintain shop efficiency and profitability.
- Review and complete work orders, invoices, and other service documentation accurately.
- Oversee warranty claims, including communication with vendors and timely ordering of parts.
- Maintain an organized lot, ensuring trailers are clean and in sellable condition.
- Support customers at trailer pickup, assisting with hitching, checking lights, and explaining safe towing procedures.
- Conduct toolbox talks and promote a safe, policy-compliant work environment.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma.
- **Experience**: At least 1 year in an automotive or related service field.
- Proficiency in working with multiple software programs related to scheduling, job costing, and service management.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of trailer repair, maintenance, or towing is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

**Work Environment**
- On-site role in a busy service department.
- Hands-on involvement with both staff and customers.
- Requires adaptability, attention to detail, and teamwork.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Automotive or Trailer Industry: 1 year (preferred)
