**Barrie Ford** is seeking an **Internet Automotive Sales Consultant** to join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership. **Purpose/Summary of Position**: This role is responsible for providing a consistently exceptional customer experience by efficiently handling online leads and utilizing advanced technology to drive sales. The Internet Automotive Sales Consultant collaborates with Sales Managers to achieve targeted goals and objectives, serving as the primary guide in the customer vehicle buying experience which is initiated and or completed online. **Key Responsibilities**: - Efficiently manage and respond to online sales inquiries, ensuring timely and personalized communication with potential customers. - Conduct virtual interviews to understand customer preferences, needs, and buying motives, matching them with suitable models and equipment. - Present vehicles and financing options through digital platforms, offering virtual tours and demonstrations tailored to customer interests. - Facilitate the trade-in evaluation process online, ensuring customers are involved and informed at each step. - Address customer concerns, present financial information, and ask for the sale through virtual meetings. - Conduct the delivery process and follow up with customers in a timely manner to build loyalty and develop lasting relationships. - Maintain a fun and informative online interaction, significantly impacting customer satisfaction and loyalty. **Key Attributes & Expectations**: - Mirror the Core Values of Barrie Ford, demonstrating commitment to unparalleled customer service and value. - Excellent communication and organizational skills, adept at working with both customers and co-workers. - Business-minded and people-oriented, with a proactive approach to improving efficiencies and learning **Skills Profile**: - Energized by challenges, with a drive to learn and grow. - Proactive self-starter with a desire for accountability. - Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. - Operates with high integrity and professionalism. - High energy and positive attitude. - Process-driven with exceptional organization and prioritization abilities. - Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. - Impeccable follow-through, committed to building and cultivating relationships. - Excellent collaboration skills, fostering strong "One Dealership" relationships with other departments. **Key Accountabilities & Objectives**: - Maintain a high Customer Service Experience index score. - Respond to and resolve customer complaints following established processes. - Assist team members and escalate customer concerns to management when required. - Provide feedback to management, maintaining open communication on suggestions and requirements. - Conduct vehicle sales according to dealership procedures for customer experience, concern resolution, closing the sale, and delivery. - Prospect to increase sales volume, especially through online channels. - Follow up on delivered vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction. - Maintain a strong knowledge base of available accessory packages, products, services, customer demographics, and competitive models. - Act as an ambassador in the community and online for the dealership and manufacturer. - Maintain a high CSI score according to dealership standards. - Collaborate with fixed departments to meet customer requests. - Adapt to changes in the sales department efficiently and effectively. **Requirements**: - Unrestricted OMVIC (Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council) license & dealership approval. - Valid driver’s license. - Minimum High School Diploma: Post-Secondary Education preferred. - Experience in the automotive industry preferred. - Previous retail sales/customer service experience required.
