**Responsibilities**:
The Branch Operations Lead assists Operations Management in leading daily warehouse operations and is responsible for:

- Following all safety rules and applicable laws;
- Under direct supervision, spends seventy percent of time directly supervising DC/Branch associates in warehouse and delivery in accordance with Manager

- Key Holder - Responsible to open and close the Branch as required;
- Confers with Assistant Manager and/or Manager to ensure coordination of warehouse activities;
- Works closely with Assistant and Branch Manager to learn all functions of Branch Management, including but not limited to; operations, staffing, training, branch assets, expense management, budgeting, etc;
- Maintains daily workflow for delivery orders. During peak business hours, assists associates working in warehouse and as delivery drivers. Ensures replenishment orders and returned merchandise are processed according to Company standards;
- Participates in planning personnel safety, training and plant protection activities. Ensures safety procedures are followed, and makes recommendations regarding safety. Understands vehicle and workers’ compensation reporting and documentation procedures; Reports violations of policies and procedures and safety concerns to manager;
- Reviews, understands, and follows branch procedures, serving as a role model to ensure compliance by all teammates;
- Ensures operations procedures are followed for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current;
- Maintains a customer service oriented philosophy in all conduct of self and teammates;
- Uses company vehicle to deliver products and equipment to customers in a safe and courteous manner;
- Other tasks as may be required.

Qualifications:

- Must have a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience;
- You are a team player - You are dedicated to contributing to a collaborative team with a positive and friendly attitude and contribute to a safe work environment;
- Previous warehouse experience including leading or planning the work of other teammates;
- Minimum 3 years’ class G driving experience required and must maintain a clean driver's abstract;
- Maintains a professional appearance and follows the customer service philosophy of the Company;
- Flexible Must be available Monday to Friday as well as alternating Saturdays;
- You are reliable - You are a self-starter who is dependable in completing tasks and is responsible with company equipment;
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs;
- Education: High School Diploma/GED.

Pay Range: CAD $20.50 - CAD $20.50 /Hr. Location Type: On-Site
