We are seeking additional members for our growing team. Our Fire Alarm, Security, Sprinkler, and Electrical professionals are protecting people and property every day. **Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with the Canada HR Manager to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with the company's overall objectives and values.
- Provide HR support to employees and managers, addressing inquiries and escalating to the HR Manager for direction to address concerns related to HR policies, benefits, and employee relations.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and new hire onboarding.
- Support employee lifecycle processes including, but not limited to, performance management, promotions, transfers, and separations.
- Assist with compensation and benefits programs.
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization, promoting a culture of equity and respect.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating training programs on various topics, such as anti-harassment, safety protocols, and professional development.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that enhance the employee experience and drive continuous improvement.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- **Minimum Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certification (e.g., CHRP) is a plus.
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices, particularly those related to employment, compensation, and workplace safety.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and coaching.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in managing HR processes.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Understanding of the fire safety and protection industry and/or construction industry is a plus.

**Physical Requirements**:
Mobility: May need to travel to attend meetings.
