**Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are prepared and available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- able to take intra and extra oral photos
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in cleardent
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care instructions.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area according to infection control protocols.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage front desk tasks as needed, including answering phones and handling patient inquiries.
- Support orthodontic procedures by preparing materials and assisting with patient fittings when required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Maintain inventory and ordering of dental supplies and equipment.
- Hours: 10-6pm on Sunday - Thursday or Monday-Thursday with minimum 2 Sundays per month.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and knowledge of orthodontics is preferred.
- Familiarity with cleardent dental software.
- Understanding of terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience with placing rubber dam, making temporaries, taking impressions and digital scans.
- Ability to perform receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient communications effectively when required. training can be provided.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and team members alike.
