Position: Road Heat Service Technician

Job Summary

The Heat Service Technician is responsible for the completion of the inspection, testing and diagnosing of electrical, propane and natural gas heaters for repair and/or regular maintenance.

Completes all work orders and related paperwork with respect to the repair and maintenance of equipment in order to preserve the integrity of the Rental Management computer system. This role also supports store staff including loading/unloading equipment and merchandising.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, general electrical understanding.
- Valid G-Class Ontario Driver’s license with current clean abstract.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Results-oriented, achieving high levels of individual and team performance.
- Role requires daily lifting and movement of heaters weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible with the ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Service and maintain natural gas, propane and electric-fired heaters.
- Drive to job sites to perform onsite repairs.
- Operate and test equipment.
- Maintain all service and repair records for serviced products.
- Adhere to all Company safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $29.00-$34.00 per hour
