Job title: Mobile Service Technician

Reports to: Customer Service Manager

**Major Purpose**:

- Based out of our Mississauga ON. location, the Mobile Service Technician provides on site maintenance, service, and inspections to commercial wheelchair accessible, and Mobile Health Vehicles, at our client’s locations across Eastern Canada. Will also perform service, maintenance, and inspections on site at our Mississauga location. Works in conjunction with our CSR in Mississauga to complete service work and attend client’s sites. Is the main point of contact when on client’s site. Develops trust and builds sustainable customer relationships through open and interactive communication. Finds solutions and resolutions to service issues and exceeds customers expectations.

**Major Duties**:

- Diagnose and repair hydraulic wheelchair lifts
- Diagnose and repair, manual and electric wheelchair ramps
- Effectively communicates repair requirements to customers and co-workers
- Consults with parts manufacturers for trouble shooting, service support as required
- Uses tools provided to complete temporary repairs when parts are not available
- Reads wiring schematics to diagnose vehicle electrical systems
- Requests remote assistance when required to help diagnose/repair
- Manage time and prioritize required maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles
- Provides customer with an overview of work completed
- Maintains safe and clean work environment
- Willing to travel for extended periods to reach clients across Eastern Canada
- Ensures that every transaction exceeds the customers expectations.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Minimum two years related experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
- Sales Experience/willingness to upsell an asset
- Excellent time management skills
- Proven complaint resolution skills

**Technical Skills & Knowledge**:

- Minimum level 2 mechanic
- Red Seal designation an asset
- Ability to think strategically
- Tech savvy

**Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in automotive discipline

**Relevant Work Experience**:

- Automotive technician
- Mobile Automotive technician
- Customer Service

**Salary**: From $40.00 per hour
