As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Ontario we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a full-time **Collections Officer** in our Kenora location.

The Collections Officer provides a variety of administrative functions related to collections and allowance management for current members. As a Collection Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire collections process, administering and controlling an assigned portion of the delinquency loan portfolio. The Collection Officer will administer the collections and delinquency loan portfolio by identifying and addressing members' delinquent situations, conducting interviews to assess financial challenges, and developing resolution strategies. This role involves granting and restructuring loans, responding to member inquiries, resolving routine problems, and reviewing system-generated reports. The officer must maintain a strong knowledge of financial management, credit granting, report analysis, and demonstrate effective communication skills
- Post-Secondary degree/diploma in business related field an asset.
- Completion of appropriate Credit Granting Courses.
- Demonstrated ability in all facets of credit granting over a five (5) year period with proven superior analytical and technical ability.
- Fully proficient in PC skills (Excel/Word), PC literacy beyond the banking system to include Loan Origination system.
- Solid communication, negotiation, organizational skills and problem-solving techniques are essential.
- Exceptional knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a financial setting.

**Salary Range**: $54,581 - $63,499
