Warehouse Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:
- Provides leadership, direction and guidance to warehouse personnel (including orientation and training)
- Supervision and motivation of warehouse personnel
- Ensure Cansew's best practices are implemented and adhered to at all times
- Plans and implements the efficient and effective utilization of manpower, equipment and resources
- Ensure that safe conditions exist at all times within the work environment
- Inventory maintenance (return's, shortage's, overage's, damages, etc)
- Arranging outbound skids
- Warehouse maintenance - (including general upkeep, garbage disposal, inventory on the shelves, lifts, lights, heaters, etc)
- Arranging van maintenance and service
- Outbound couriers (parcels)
- Year-end inventory coordination/follow-up
- Liaison between departments (ie. front office, Montreal Warehouse, Calgary Warehouse and Vancouver Warehouse)
- Undertakes other functions and duties as required
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience
- Post-Secondary education and/or working knowledge of transportation and warehousing preferred
- Valid driver's licence
- Geographical knowledge of Ontario and specifically the GTA
- Working knowledge of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication in English
- Self-motivated and a team player
- A strong desire to succeed and deliver top notch customer service
- A working leader. This will not be a sit behind a desk job. You will be expected to “get your hands dirty” to complete tasks
Remuneration and Benefits:
- Health and dental plans after 3 months ( participation is obligatory)
- On site parking
- RRSP program after 1 year employment
- Starting salary $52,650/yr. After successfully completing the 3 month probation period,the salary increases to $54,600
**Salary**: $52,650.00-$54,600.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

- North York, ON M6A 2V2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
