**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers with a positive, knowledgeable, and professional approach
- Provide expert advice on fishing gear, tackle, and local fishing conditions
- Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system for transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise
- Process product orders and special requests
- Maintain clean and organized displays and merchandising
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Stay current with product knowledge, new arrivals, and industry trends
- Support store promotions, events, and seasonal campaigns

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Required**: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in fishing (local knowledge is a bonus)
- **Preferred**: Experience in retail sales and POS systems
- **Preferred**: Familiarity with inventory processes (ordering, receiving, restocking)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
