No two days are ever the same at Specsavers. As a team member, you’ll serve a number of customers with differing needs throughout the day. You’ll need to be able to work well with others in a busy team environment, as well as be able to quickly provide solutions and helpful guidance on our products and services. But don’t worry - to support you in meeting a wide range of customer needs, you’ll have continuous support from your directors and colleagues off or on the shop floor.

**Duties**:

- Greet customers as they enter the store with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Start the pre exam before they see the doctor by asking questions regarding their medical history
- Answer customer inquiries about eye exams and availability with eye exam appointments and booking them in
- Direct customers to the appropriate areas of the store or workers who can help them best
- Check patients into their eye exam by collecting personal data from them -Get patients to sign their names on consent forms, msp forms etc -Provide exception customer service to every patient
- Assist with merchandizing and cleaning frames and clean floor, sanitize dust etc.
- Walk through patient through visual field testing -Explain to patients what they will expect with their eye exam and celebrate amazing technology and Specsavers affordablity and patient care

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE

Retail, customer service experience, optical experience - an asset but not required

WORKING CONDITIONS

On feet working in a fast past environment

Multitasking

Bending and moving to clean and organize in down time

Uniform provided

- 40 hours per week (or 35 if that's prefered), with full benefits immediately.
