**Purpose**:
The Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies (LA&PS) is the largest Faculty at York University with over 24,000 undergraduate and graduate students, and almost 100 programs delivered through 25 Departments, Schools and Colleges, plus the IBM Markham Learning Site. Through innovative course design, diverse experiential education and learning opportunities, and a supportive community environment, our students receive the education they need to create big ideas that have an impact on the world.The Field Education Coordinator is responsible for the effective coordination of field education placements in the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) programs. Ensures that students are appropriately placed in field education sites, liaises with host agencies and field instructors, and ensures compliance with all protocols, including governmental, accreditation and University legislative requirements. The Field Education Coordinator will also support the vision, mission, values and strategic direction of the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies and York University, and contribute to a positive, supportive and student-focused team environment of high performance, respect, trust, collaboration and continuous improvement. embraces diversity and fosters inclusion.

**Education**:
Bachelor of Social Work Degree.

**Experience**:
Minimum three (3) years of recent and relevant social work practice experience. Experience as a field instructor and supporting students in an academic unit would be an asset.

Demonstrated record of good attendance and punctuality.
