**Overview**

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Line Haul Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles in the Evening to Calgary from Red Deer and Return in a safely and Efficient manor

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate 5 Ton trucks from red Deer to Calgary and Return, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport freight efficiently from origin to destination, ensuring timely deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and other essential systems
- Load and unload freight using forklifts as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Perform basic troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues during transit

**Skills**
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other loading machinery
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols for transportation
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting to maintain vehicle performance
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and delivery schedules
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers, clients, and team members
- Physical ability to load/unload freight, operate heavy equipment, and perform vehicle inspections as required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
