The Estimating Manager for the New Construction Division is responsible for overseeing the estimating process for all new construction projects within the company. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure accurate and timely bids for new projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the estimating team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of bids and proposals for new construction projects.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of market conditions, construction costs, and industry trends to ensure competitive bids.
- Manage the bid process from start to finish, including bid review, risk analysis, and negotiation with clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate forecasting of labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Provide guidance and support to the estimating team to ensure consistent quality and accuracy in all bids.
- Develop and implement best practices and procedures for the estimating department.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the company's capabilities, resources, and competitive advantages.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- 10+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on new construction.
- Proven track record of successful bid management and negotiation.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of construction codes and regulations.
- Ability to travel as needed.
