Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the estimation process for construction projects from inception to completion
- Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Complete a detailed site visit for each new estimate
- Utilize software such as Bluebeam and other tools to streamline the estimating process
- Collaborate with project trades, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors for competitive pricing
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors
- Monitor industry trends to ensure cost competitiveness
- Be available on site to manage projects including team members, inventory, client relationship, project details
- MUST be able to prepare proposals without drawings, 90% of our clients require us to prepare the drawings.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
- 10 years experience in commercial construction, hands on experience
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, and other estimating software
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision

Notes:

- Office is located in Burlington, ON, working from the office daily is required

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
