The Lead Host is an essential and dynamic member of the Front of House Team, dedicated to delivering thoughtful and genuine hospitality in a high-end restaurant environment. This role is pivotal in crafting unforgettable dining experiences for our guests by ensuring service excellence and elevating the guest service journey.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Ensure the front entrance, lobby, and guest areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times, maintaining high standards throughout the shift.
- Arrive to work promptly, in full uniform, and prepared with all necessary tools for the job to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.
- Prepare the Host Area with up-to-date reservation information and event details, allowing for accurate guest responses and efficient service.
- Efficiently operate Open Table and Micros software, maintaining smooth guest flow and accurate seating.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their table, assisting with seating and offering additional help as needed.
- Make quick and thoughtful seating decisions, managing guest expectations, and suggesting appropriate wait times if necessary.
- Provide guests with menus, answer immediate questions, and introduce them to their server, ensuring a smooth transition into the dining experience.
- Accommodate special requests where possible and communicate guest needs to the dining room team to enhance service.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency while remaining calm and composed during peak periods, seeking out additional tasks during slower periods, such as spot cleaning or table resetting.
- Maintain positive relationships with all team members, management, and guests, demonstrating respect and courtesy at all times.
- Spot clean areas and assist in clearing and resetting tables as required to maintain cleanliness and readiness for the next guest.
- Demonstrate genuine hospitality in all interactions with guests, ensuring their needs are met and their experience is memorable.
- Handle guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy, resolving issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all guests, ensuring they feel valued and respected throughout their visit.
- Promote restaurant events, specials, and offerings to guests, enhancing their experience and encouraging repeat business.
- Monitor dining room activity to anticipate guest needs, proactively addressing requests or potential issues.
- Coordinate with servers and the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service during all meal periods.
- Attend team meetings, training, and orientation sessions to stay informed of Pearle’s standards and collaborate with colleagues to achieve high levels of work and guest care.
- Maintain punctuality, uniform presentation, and personal hygiene, adhering to Pearle’s policies and remaining calm under pressure.
- Manage lost and found items according to Pearle’s protocol, documenting items and ensuring they are properly handled.
- Act with integrity and professionalism, taking responsibility for decisions and actions, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Support and uphold Pearle’s values of quality, kindness, collaboration, and perseverance in every interaction.

**What we would like you to bring to the position**:
- 2-3+ year experience as a Host
