**Position Summary**
The Line Cook is responsible for food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring meals are prepared according to guidelines and standards.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
The duties and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Food Preparation & Cooking_
Prepare food items daily,
following recipes,
portion control, and
presentation specifications.
- Station Setup & Cleanliness_
Set up stations per guidelines, clean as you go, and maintain an organized and sanitary work environment.
- Equipment & Safety_
Use kitchen equipment properly and safely, maintaining knowledge of equipment operation.
- Inventory & Restocking_
Restock food and supplies throughout the shift to ensure continuous service.
- Sanitation & Organization_
Assist in cleaning kitchen areas, including walk-in coolers and storage, and execute a daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule.
- Efficiency & Flexibility_

Work at a consistent pace, ensure timely meal preparation, and adjust to changing needs throughout the shift.
- Quality Control_

Ensure food is served at the correct portion size, temperature, and quality standards.

**Minimum Requirements***
- _Minimum 1 year of cooking experience required._
- _Demonstrate knowledge of food quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation required._
- _Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation, and principles of safe food handling required._
- _Effective communication skills._
- _Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment._
- _Highly effective teamwork skills._
- _The ability to read and follow cheat sheets_
- _Attention to detail in all areas of work._
- _Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with mínimal supervision._
- _Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills._
- _Strong work ethic and positive team attitude._

**Working Conditions**
- 7am-3pm operation hours.
- Weekends, as needed.
- Ability to stand for long period of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
