Tempo Aerospace is a AS9100D and ISO9001:2015 certified manufacturer and distributor of high performance coatings for the aerospace, defence and fleet automotive sectors. We ship globally serving clients in over 30 countries.
Our specialty lies in producing made to order batches, ranging from 1 to 300 gallons (4 to 1,100L) in our 25,000 square foot controlled goods certified facility in Toronto, Canada.

**Position Summary**:
Join a team of motivated professionals in the aerospace and defence industry. This challenging role requires smarts, accuracy and a love of colour. As Batch Maker you have the ability to work independently in an organized fashion. You understand that accuracy and situational awareness are important for both your safety and for producing high quality outputs.

Your role will be to:

- Assemble small, medium and large batches
- Run mixers and media mills
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Communicate with team members
- Other tasks deemed relevant by management

**Key accountabilities for this role**:

- Think and be present
- Lift (23kg) 50lbs frequently
- Working reading and comprehension skills
- Good interpersonal skills and self motivated
- Communicate with internal clients and departments

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Willingness to learn and be a team player
- Speak and understand English
- Valid working visa

The following are considered assets:

- Experience working with machines
- Experience in paint tinting a strong asset
- Degree or certificate in chemistry or coatings technology an asset
- Experience in colour theory
- Forklift training an asset and will be provided on the job
- WHMIS (provided on the job)
