Tempo Aerospace is a AS9100D and ISO9001:2015 certified manufacturer and distributor of high performance coatings for the aerospace, defence and fleet automotive sectors. We ship globally serving clients in over 30 countries.
Our specialty lies in producing made to order batches, ranging from 1 to 300 gallons (4 to 1,100L) in our 25,000 square foot controlled goods certified facility in Toronto, Canada.

**Position Summary**:

Your role will be to:

- Assemble batches ranging from 1-300 gallons following approved formulas and procedures
- Operate mixers, dispersers, and media mills safely and efficiently
- Measure and add raw materials according to batch tickets
- Maintain accurate batch records and cleanliness of equipment
- Communicate effectively with quality, lab, and scheduling teams
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management

**Key accountabilities for this role**:

- Think and be present
- Lift 23kg (50lbs) regularly throughout the shift
- Strong reading comprehension and ability to follow written instructions
- Good interpersonal skills and self motivated
- Communicate with internal clients and departments

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Reliable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working in a production or laboratory environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

The following are considered assets:

- Experience operating manufacturing or mixing equipment
- Paint tinting or colour-matching experience
- Education in chemistry, coatings, or related field
- Forklift certification or previous certification
- WHMIS certification (training provided)
