TH offers a wide range of acute and post-acute care including emergency and intensive care, medical/surgical care, obstetrical, rehabilitation and complex/transitional care and palliative care services. In addition to the above, the Hospital offers laboratory, diagnostic imaging and mental health and addictions programs.

**Job Listings**:
The successful student will gain exposure to facility maintenance and will work with our maintenance staff to learn about boilers, electrical, automated building systems, plumbing, construction and general property maintenance.

**Hours of Work**:7:30 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Student must be enrolled in an Ontario high school or a post secondary institution for the following school year
- Able to read, write, speak and follow oral and written directions in English
- Basic computer skills including use of software packages i.e. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to lift / carry 50+ lbs of equipment i.e. carrying construction material
- Strength, dexterity and the ability to stand for most of the day
- Strong aptitude to learning about maintenance roles and aspects of working with the facilities/maintenance department in a hospital environment
- Must have an excellent work record, including attendance
- Must demonstrate a commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers and visitor
