**About the Role**: Miller Paving in Atlantic Canada is looking for a summer student to support the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) team.. This role reports to the Senior Manager, HSE and assists with the implementation of Miller'sHSE program. This will be a 4-month summer term with full-time hours.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support HSE coordinator in administrative duties related to systematic identification, assessment and control of hazards and risks
- .Participate in HSE committee meetings and assist with agenda and meeting minutes
- Support the implementation of the Miller's y HSE program by assisting with daily tasks like tracking of issues, updating training matrix, preparing orientation packages

**Requirements**:

- Working towards a post-secondary degree or diploma in Health and Safety or Environmental Studies
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and organize daily activities,
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license and access to vehicle
