**What you’ll do**
- Formulations using the NanoAssemblrTM microfluidics-based manufacturing platform.
- Assist with in vitro and in vivo studies to characterize the efficiency of LNP-nucleic acid formulations including but not limited to routine Western blot, flow cytometry, qPCR, molecular biology purifications and ELISA analysis.
- Assist with the development of new in vitro models and assays to support research objectives.
- Initiate study protocols and generate data and reports to support PNI.
- Document, analyze, and interpret experimental data; generate summaries.
- Determine the physical, chemical and stability properties of nanoparticle formulations.
- Support assessment of the functional activity of novel nanoparticle formulations.
- Assist in the scale-up and process development of nanoparticle formulations.
- Assist with developing protocols to increase analysis throughput.
- Prepares Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reports and technical presentations.
- Assists in the day-to-day management of the lab.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Support development of novel lipid/polymer-based nanoparticles.

**Who you are**
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate (Bachelor’s program) in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences or Biomedical engineering discipline.
- Previous work experience in a related laboratory environment or completion of at least one previous co-op assignment.
- Experience in analytical assays, strong analytical and troubleshooting capability.
- Experience with lipid or polymer nanoparticles will be an asset.
- Experience of cell and molecular biology techniques such as flow cytometry, qPCR, western blotting, etc. is an asset.
- Must be a resourceful, proactive, detail oriented individual.
- The individual must be a team player who thrives in a dynamic environment with multiple tasks and strong deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be able to work with minimum supervision.
