**Job Overview**

Brady Steelworks Inc is in search for an experienced CNC machinist, who is also familiar with the roles and responsibilities of a general machinist and possesses a strong mechanical aptitude. Qualifications and responsibilities include:

- Set up and operate machines such as lathes, milling machines, and CNC machines
- Capable of reading and reviewing drawings, samples, and blueprints
- Responsible for operating on a variety of CNC machine tools to perform precise or repetitive machining operations such as milling, drilling, tapping etc
- Verify dimensions of machined features for accuracy and conformance to specifications using various measuring instruments
- Responsible for maintaining product quality during machining cycle
- Capable of performing routine equipment maintenance, as well as inspection of machinery prior to operation
- Program, edit existing programs, or prove out new programs for CNC machine tools
- Capable of editing and reading standard machine code
- Able to use basic measuring instruments and take precise measurements for cutting or shaping
- Capable of working independently with minimum supervision or guidance
- Able to maintain a safe and clean workspace
- Capable of accepting and following instructions and work with others cooperatively
- Forklift operation experience is desirable

CNC Machinist 3-5 years

Welding experience and certification is considered an asset

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
