Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Lathe Machinist, located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The CNC Lathe Machinist will be responsible for operating and programming CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision components. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting technical drawings, setting up and calibrating equipment, performing machine operations, and conducting quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications. The role also involves maintaining machinery and ensuring adherence to safety standards in the workplace.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CNC lathe machine operation, programming, and setup
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Knowledge of machining tools, techniques, and materials
  • Experience conducting quality checks and using measuring instruments
  • Understanding of safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and precision-focused work ethic
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform machine maintenance
  • Previous experience in industries such as precision machining or manufacturing is a plus
  • Relevant certification or training in CNC machining, manufacturing, or related field
