Job Title: CNC 5-Axis Machinist – DMG Machines Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Job Type: Full-Time | Day and Afternoon Shifts Available Industry: Advanced Manufacturing / Precision Machining Our client, a leading precision machining company in the GTA, is seeking an experienced CNC 5-Axis Machinist to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering long-term career growth in a clean, well-equipped, and innovative shop environment. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines (DMG MORI experience required) Perform tool changes, machine changeovers, and program adjustments Read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings Conduct in-process inspections to ensure tight tolerances and high-quality finishes Collaborate with programmers and engineers to optimize machining processes Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, organized work environment Qualifications: 3+ years of CNC 5-axis machining experience Strong experience with DMG MORI machines (setup and changeover a must) Ability to read G-code and make offsets as required High attention to detail and commitment to quality Strong problem-solving and communication skills Compensation: Competitive hourly wage, shift premiums, benefits, and opportunities for overtime.
