The warehouse manager assistant needs to provide assistance in the inventory control area, including critical things such as administration and various reporting requirements, including health and safety-related.

**Responsibility**:

- Maintain system by which installers/contractors have needed materials, either via delivery to different job sites or to be picked up
- Organize and maintain stock of commonly used products so it’s available for walk-in customers and installers/contractors
- Inspect products for defects and damages.
- Monitor supply and demand closely to keep inventory at a minimum
- Work with our suppliers to maintain and improve supply chains and procedures
- Ensure walk-in customers are looked after for material orders and pick-ups
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
- Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
- Maintain vehicle fleet
- Manage services for building maintenance, such as snow removal, HVAC, safety equipment such as fire extinguishers
- Enforce safety policy and improve safety protocol where needed/identified

**Qualification**:

- A customer service-oriented team player
- Positive attitude
- Attention to details
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and solid work ethic
- Basic computer skills: ability to use a keyboard and a mouse to correctly collect and enter information into the system
- Motivated self-starter who is willing to work independently and with teams
- Skilled in safe forklift driving is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$22.00 per hour
