**Description**
Our Client is seeking a Project Coordinator to support information technology infrastructure delivery. The Project Coordinator will be leading a team in the development, implementation and execution of information technology projects or are responsible for a complex specialized area within IT. Communication with stakeholders and co-workers will be essential in ensuring that project deliverables meet client expectation. The position will use diverse IT expertise to operate independently on assigned work or provide guidance to others.
Project Coordinator is responsible for the planning, managing and reporting on projects that range vary in scope and size. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for one or more projects at any one time and will be responsible for ensuring stakeholder governance is effective, efficient and constructively moving towards the direction of demonstrating value and benefits
Proposed resource must work from within Canada, due to network and data security issues.

**Experience Required/Mandatory Skills**
- Experience as a project coordinator leading technical teams in multiple implementation and execution of information technology projects in a large and complex environment. (5+ years)
- Experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders. (5+ years)
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently. (4+ years)
- Experience leading successfully implemented IT solutions in an environment with project resources from across multiple teams or organizations. (4+ years)
- Experience as a business analyst translating business requirements into detailed technical requirements in an enterprise environment. (5+ years)
- Experience with written and verbal communications including specific experience in drafting strategic business and technical documentation. (5+ years)
- Experience in facilitating and managing business process development and process re-engineering workshops and sessions. (3+ years)
- Experience in gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders across ministries or departments. (3+ years)
- Available to lead frequent (daily) face-to-face meetings with clients and technical teams located in Edmonton.
- Proposed resource must work from within Canada, due to network and data security issues.
**Nice To Have Skills**
- Experience in the development of project documents for a wide variety of initiatives and projects (business improvement, information technology, etc.). (4+ years)
- Experience in facilitating meetings and communicating with senior management and project stakeholders. (4+ years)
- Experience in the design, development and implementation of complex IT solutions. (4+ years)
- Experience leading project governance, change management and communication activities. (4+ years)
- Experience working within an agile development environment. (3+ years)
- Experience leading in the development and implementation of Information Technology infrastructure projects. (3+ years)
**Location**
- Edmonton/Remote
**Work Environment**
- 1 year with 1 possible 6-month extension
**Hourly Rate**
- Negotiable
