**Inventory Logistics Manager - Shipping / Receiving - Wilderness Supply Co.**
**_Position Overview_**:
Wilderness Supply is Manitoba’s leader in paddle sports and quality outdoor gear. The Inventory Logistics Manager must be responsible, motivated, and detail oriented. They will ensure all shipping and receiving functions are coordinated, accurate and efficient. They will help arrange couriers to ensure shipments arrive on time, perform procedures related to inventory control, communicate with various departments to deal with material discrepancies and ensure all goods are properly packaged and contain all proper documentation. With their organized expertise they will play a definite key role in enhancing our instore and e-commerce reputation in the industry.

An Inventory Logistics Manager at Wilderness Supply is responsible for all incoming and outgoing inventory. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate receiving, shipping procedures, warehouse management, inventory maintenance, implementing store inventory policies and procedures, preparing reports and periodic evaluation of current shipping structures.
**_Job Description Include_**:
- Receive all purchase orders of incoming product, preparing and staging items for sale
- Communicate with various departments, suppliers and customers to deal with inventory requests and/or discrepancies
- Manage all exports from Wilderness Supply and develop effective shipping procedures
- Source efficient and cost-effective methods of shipping both nationally and internationally
- Document and minimize all charges such as freight, duties and taxes
- Develop a pattern of shipping costs for product of variable sizes and weights
- Manage store warranties, credits and/or product replacements
- Develop a method for shipping and documenting e-commerce sales
- Manage shipment of e-commerce orders and creation of efficient shipping strategies
- Perform administrative procedures related to inventory control
- Maintain receiving records and participate in cycle counts
- Leadership of warehouse staff
- Responsible for the full organization and cleanliness of warehouse and shipping department
- Other duties as necessary
**Education**
- High School Diploma
- Post-Secondary education (college or university) is an asset.
- Additional courses pertaining to shipping / receiving or inventory management is an asset
**Experience**
- At least 1-3 years shipping and receiving and inventory management
- Proven track record in warehouse personnel management
- Outdoor experience and/or a demonstrated passion for self-propelled outdoor sports will be considered an asset

Supply should possess:
- Demonstrated computer skills using excel, word with typing speeds of 40-50 wpm
- Strong ability to communicate both verbal and written in the English language
- Proficient with computers (Microsoft Office)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Class 5 license
