Danson Decor Inc is the Leader in Import / Distribution of Seasonal Decorations designed for commercial Holidays. In business for over 85 years and the company now sells over 10,000 decorative items throughout all Canada.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and schedule vendor payments (via Letter of Credit or Bank Transfer), customer invoice and order shipping dates
- Price negotiation, customer quotations
- Correspondence with suppliers for shipping, documents, etc.
- Item and purchase order creation
- Correspondence with customers
- Prepare all documents necessary
- Shipment consolidations by port to ensure scheduling is reasonable.
- Follow-up on deliveries when required.
- Match and approve brokerage and freight bills for sample shipments.
- Prepare internal receivers
- Follow up on all aspects of import orders to ensure timely compliance with customer requirements (UPC, artwork/packaging, samples, shipping instructions, documentation, certifications, etc.);
- Work and coordinate all tasks with other members of the Import/Purchasing team

**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**:

- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Computer literate (EXCEL, Word, Outlook)
- Be self-motivated
- 50% French / 50% English (spoken and written) to communicate with customers in Québec and across Canada
- Very organized
