Our client, a leading furniture company is experiencing a growth in many areas of its business, and is looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team in Richmond Hill, ON.

The Accounts Receivable Clerk must be a motivated, highly skilled individual who is looking to shine with his extraordinary creativity and skills.

**Timing**:Monday to Friday (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

**Pay**: $40-45K

**Location**:Richmond Hill, ON

**Requirements**:

- Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
- Create invoices according to company practices; submit invoices to customers
- Maintain and update customer files
- Draft correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identify delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment
- Prepare schedules and aged A/R reports for weekly reporting
- Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts
- Collaborate with the Head Office to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic basis
- Assist in reconciling revenue accounts each month
- Receive requests and respond to inquiries from customers in regards to invoices and payments
- Assist in day to day administrative tasks in the showroom
- Contribute to team effort and complete other duties as required or assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- College level Accounting certificate or diploma.
- Minimum of 1 year accounts receivable full cycle and general accounting experience
- Fluency in French language is a requirement (written and verbal fluency required)
- Intermediate level competency in Microsoft Office Word/Excel/Outlook
- Intermediate level competency in ACCPAC and Microsoft GP
- Excellent planning and attention to detail with high level of accuracy and analysis skills in investigating and resolving discrepancies and escalating findings as necessary
- High level of accuracy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volume of transactions and able to multi-task
- Strong problem solving, decision-making skills and sense of urgency in dealing with clients
- Able to build and manage relationships within team, cross functional departments and clients
- Able to read, write and understand English and meet with clients as necessary
- Above average attention to detail
- Exemplary interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
