**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for assisting in the opening and closing the restaurant to Virtuous Pie opening condition standards.
- Some cash handing
- Training new employees in Virtuous Pie practices and performing quality control checks
- Ensure food and beverages meet our standards
- Support the team to deliver high-level quality guest experience.
- Effectively and efficiently communicate with guests, partners, and management.
- Work collaboratively with FOH leadership, GM and chef to complete required duties
- Work collaboratively with BOH teams to ensure smooth services
- Fill out daily manager log.
- Coordinate and delegate daily/weekly tasks with team to ensure productive workflow.
- Order, receive and stock supplies when needed
- Have a firm knowledge of our food and drink menus.
- Anticipating and resolving problems that may arise while on shift.
- Foster productive teamwork while encouraging the team to be themselves and have fun while doing the work

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- 1+ years in a front of the house role
- Personal alignment with Virtuous Pie’s vision, values, and team culture is considered a serious asset.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Able to focus, switch-task, and reset in a dynamic environment
- Passion for delivering outstanding guest experience and superior levels of hospitality.
- Ability to work in fast-paced and inter-functional team environments.
- High standard for professionalism and attention to detail.
- Eager to create positive and long-lasting relationships with guests.
- Must be able to stand/work on your feet for 8-hour shifts.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to use ladders and step stools safely.
- Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Excel (recommended), Microsoft Sharepoint, and Apple products.
- You have availability that includes evenings and weekends
- You are able to commute to and from work in a timely manner, sometimes as late as midnight.

Starting salary of $18-19 per hour, negotiable with experience and tenure.

Equal tip out for the whole team ($6-$8 per hour)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
